What happens when you delete your account

When you delete your YourBook account, all of your data is permanently and irreversibly removed from our systems within 30 days. This includes:

Your audio recordings
Transcriptions and memoir sections
Uploaded photos
Profile information and account details
Subscription and billing history

This action cannot be undone. Please export any content you wish to keep before deleting your account.

How to delete your account

Option 1: In the app

Open YourBook and go to Profile > Delete Account. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm deletion.

Option 2: By email

Send a request to privacy@yourbook.ai from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request and confirm deletion within 30 days.
